Expressive Arts

United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) articles supported by our Expressive Arts  curriculum:

The Expressive Arts curricular area includes Art and Design, Dance, Drama and Music. The inspiration and power of the arts play a vital role in enabling our children and young people to enhance their creative talent and develop their artistic skills.

Throughout the year, theatre companies visit our school and our pupils have the opportunity to participate in our own school productions. 

When planning and delivering our Expressive Arts curriculum our teaching staff use the CREATE Expressive Arts Framework.
